Park has great clean facilities. Lots of shade trees, pickle ball court. Huge dog run area out front. And only a mile from Durango hot springs and just down the road from the Colorado Honey Distillery.
We love this friendly, clean campground. There is a 2 acre dog park and a lake right next door. Overlooks the valley, amazing views of the Mesa Verde mtns. Clean bathrooms and laundry facilities.

This is the old KOA that was bought by RJourney. Great spot central to the trail of the ancients loop.
Lake is full even in early September. Amazing and refreshing
Nice easy to get to off the Highway. Easy after hours check-in.
The river runs right next to the campground with part of the sites right along it.

Easy to get to and in/out of spots. Great views and close to a lot of activities. Only a 4 because the highway is close by.
A bit hard to find off the right hand side going from Cliff Dwellers to Lees Ferry. There are 3 different turnoffs. 1st is rough we hear, middle is better, 3rd=?. About a mile to river. Great views!
The park is a great spot to see Bry e Canyon. No troubles getting a spot on the last day of the season. October 30th.
