Very nice and quaint campground. Smaller tent sites and large double tent or trailer sites. Right on the river, good for fishing. Very clean, even the pit toilet bathroom was clean. Nearby to hot springs, off roading/short hikes/mountain or dirt biking trails and areas. Only $5/night with your National Parks Pass. Dog friendly and awesome fire pits (clean and not warped racks for grilling) We will definitely be back.

It was the only place in the area we could find last minute. Never been to a KOA before, but they are definitely for a particular type of camper. This place was LOUD during the day with kids running around and walking through our small tent campsite. All the tent sites were right by the playground. Cabins were offered, RV sites and hookups, lots of amenities for kids. Not my thing but the staff was friendly upon check in.

I used to live in Bellingham years ago and had never camped here before. It's only a few miles from town, so you could head in there for a day away from the forest/beach, or you could hike one of the many trails leading to scenic views. Easy beach access, playground for kids, dog friendly. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, the train tracks are right there.

My family has been going to this campground and area since before I was born. We used to go every summer growing up. There's a designated swimming area for kids, a dock, and a playground. Definitely a busy spot mid summer season, but good for the whole family. Lots of boats of the lake, good for water skiing or wakeboarding. A bunch of smaller, more quiet and secluded beaches nearby.

This campground was pretty great. Close to Yellowstone, but just far enough away if you know what I mean. Super nice Camp Host there to answer any questions for you about the area. Its a small campground, but affordable. $10 per night ($5 with an interagency pass) up to a 16 night stay. Nestled in the canyon outside of East Yellowstone. Fire pits, 2 pit toilets, and bear proof food boxes. Grizzly country, bring your bear spray.
