Nice park

Sites are narrow and long. Nice for camping with a few families in adjacent sites. Well kept and newer shower house. Some trails for hiking.

Beautiful Fall camping

Stayed here for 4 days in late October. Site 112 is nice pull through. Lovely state park. Hiking trails are short but nice. Lime kiln trail is difficult but so worth it.

Way too crazy busy

This would be a great place for families with kids. So much for the kids to do. Had a DJ at the beach for parents enjoyment. For empty nesters we couldn’t take it and left after one night.

We had a blast

So much for kids to do. Activities every weekend. Most of the sites great. Very busy place.

Very nice owner

Small full hook up campground. Pool and mini golf, nice showers. Highway noise.

Fun campground

Mostly seasonal sites with a few reservable sites. Decent upkeep and pretty strict rules. Bar/restaurant on site but was not open yet during our stay due to covid rules.

Beautiful site on very small lake (pond)

Lots of permanent sites with some reservable. Tight roads if you have a 30+ft rig. Store was closed due covid but the delivered pizza to our site. Met owners at an RV show and the were awesome. Pretty expensive.

Tiny campground but across street from Lake Michigan

Campground is part of a motel. Can use the indoor pool as campers. Not much of a campground but worked for our stay during a ball tournament.

High marks for amazing staff

Nice little campground with full hook ups and swimming pool. Kids liked it. Owners were awesome.

Well kept

Nice little campground. Small and quiet, full hook ups available. Pool and mini golf for kid. Very friendly owner.

Beautiful campground

Stayed here 4th of July weekend. It was hot, humid and crazy busy. Portable water at dump station was not working. Had a sign that office had water hose for filling the trailer. Good hiking, really nice lake but it was just to busy to use.

Love the water sites!

We’ve been here several times and love the T sites, fishing and kayaking right from your site! Owners gave rules but that makes it a nice family campground.

Many many wonderful camping trips

We’ve been coming to Blackhawk for 15 years. We started as tent campers then a pop up and now a travel trailer. We love the flush toilets and free showers. Appreciate the double access at the dump station. Nice lake for boating, fishing and swimming.

First trip of 2020

Cute little campground. Very very nice owners. Full hook ups. Not a lot of privacy.

Love this state park

Site 291, electric, good size site. Wooded and quiet.

Very nice campground

Level sites with electric and water at each site. Well taken care of grounds. Nice bathrooms with clean showers.

Nice campground

Very friendly staff, nice camp store. Sites ok, pretty tight. Quiet place with nice playground.

Nice campground

Newer campground, not much shade but outer ring surrounded by trees. Site 50 has beautiful view. Hook ups are very nice quality Staff is very friendly.
