Very pretty campsite but extremely rude camp hosts! There was one guy that was kind but the others were really rude and were constantly harassing us! The second we got up there they came to our campsite while we were setting up our tents to discuss the rules. That is completely fine and understandable, however, as soon as we finished setting up our tents they came and told us that we needed to move our tents to spread them out more? We were a tad confused but we agreed and shrugged it off our shoulders. Later we decided we wanted to ride our bikes. We started to ride our bikes when the camp host came running to ask if our bike was licensed. We said it wasn’t licensed because it couldn’t be in Idaho and she said since it isn’t licensed and it is a“federal highway” that we can’t proceed to ride our bikes. Once again we shrugged it off our shoulders and tried to make the most of it. Then a few of us decided to go down to the beach that is called“swim beach” with a big sign that says“no swimming allowed”. We decided since we couldn’t swim that we were going to sit down and enjoy the view. We were minding our own business and before you know it the camp hosts tracked us down all the way to the beach and said we needed to be more responsible with our campfire. We explained someone was there watching the campfire but they said that because our person that was watching the campfire was unresponsive to them calling out that they aren’t clearly responsible enough to watch over the campfire. At this point we start to get upset but kindly agree and go back to the campsite to watch our fire. Once again, not even an hour later, someone comes up to us and asks us to keep it down(this is around 3 pm) and to respect others. We couldn’t catch a break! Then for the rest of the day we had a sheriff constantly circling our camp site. The frustrating part is we didn’t even do anything wrong, we followed the rules that were discussed with us from the beginning and yet we were constantly harassed. Would NOT recommend this campsite!!!
