Map not accurate

We were frustrated as a family with 2 young kids to find that the “playground” on the map is just a green (actually weed) space with no playground, no volleyball net, literally nothing. The trail around shumway lake is apparently closed which I take to mean unkept so we stayed off of it. Not much to do with kids unless you drive over to loon lake. They have a small beach and small playground. The trail around loon lake is nice and ok for kids 6+. Frustrated that the map is inaccurate as we always choose sites near a playground for the kids and this one is nonexistent even though it’s listed on the map.

The other thing that was extremely annoying is that the flies and mosquitoes are completely out of control. We literally couldn’t sit outside. It was the RV or the gazebo. And this was all day, not just at night.

The grounds are beautiful but would not come back.

Great family campground

Loved this family campground! Bathrooms are super nice and are heated. Sites a a nice distance apart, lots of trees. Nice playground with swings, close to a larger park near the lake. Only reason we gave it 4 is because, as another reviewer pointed out, many of the sites are facing the wrong way…including ours. Not that big of a deal for weekend trips. Also wish it had some trails through the woods. We had site 18 which was way in the back, nice and private.

Great for families and bikers

Lots of space between campsites. They aren’t very private though. Great playground and green space for the kids, beach is very nice. Bathrooms are clean.

Beautiful grounds

The grounds are beautiful. We went on a weekday so we were the only ones around. We had site C14. Bathrooms were decent. Playground is kind of small and old. However we had a great time and will probably be back next year when sibley farm is open again. The electric hook ups are really far from the pad so bring an extension. Frisbee golf course within walking distance. Bugs were bad I guess, maybe a tad worse than elsewhere we have camped but not bad enough to keep us from sitting outside in the evening.

Great campground with private sites

Great campground with new playground and lots of families. Sites are spacious and have privacy. We were in site 70. It had more space on the opposite side of our door which was a tad annoying but very nice campsite with lots of nearby paved trails. Will be coming again!

Nice campground, great for families

2 great playgrounds nearby for the kiddos. We were on site B9 and it was spacious. However the road noise from the freeway was pretty loud.
