A hidden Gem

We just stayed here this past weekend and we will definitely be back! This place is amazing! Nicer than most KOAs and similarly priced but with more stuff to do. There is a heated pool ( like actually heated) a hot tub, a cute playground, basketball half court, pickle ball courts, mini golf course, dog park, and a river nearby. On top of all they that have great activities available on the weekend like kids crafts, a movie night, live music and a nice campfire. Honestly this place is very well cared for and it shows. The staff were all very friendly, and public bathrooms were some of the nicest and cleanest I’ve ever seen! The even offered free breakfast on Sunday. Also they weren’t too close to the freeway ( we have a pop-up so we hear everything at night), but only a few minutes from gas stations and Starbucks as well as McDonalds and other fast food places.

Not what I was expecting.

Well I felt a bit deceived by the website… it said there was a basketball court, a dog park, and a playground but honestly they are the saddest excuses of any of those things I have ever seen. The pool is very nice, if not a bit cold and seating is limited. Bathrooms/ showers are very clean. Getting in and out is pretty crazy as you’re on a steep hill. The weather was nice but I was looking for a more family friendly campground and this was not it. Great as a stop on your way somewhere maybe but not a good weekend getaway unless you have stuff in town to see or do.

Great Time!

We just went camping here our first time last weekend and we had a great time! A very kid friendly campground, they had lots of things to keep you busy! 2 pools, a playground, game room, pickle ball courts, mini golf, RC car track, go-cart rentals, golf cart rentals, dog parks, activity’s for kids, you won’t be bored! Bathrooms/ showers were pretty clean and had a nice little store if you forgot stuff. 3 nice big propane fire pits by the entrance were perfect for roasting marshmallows. The BBQ Rush had great food if you don’t feel like cooking one night. Only $36 a night for a back in site with full hookups is a great deal! We had a blast and will definitely be back!

Pretty nice

We stayed here one weekend in early April and had. A nice relaxing weekend. This campground is well cared for and the owners are very friendly. I would say the kids park could use some updating and the pool was too cold to swim in this time of year but we still had a nice stay 🙂. Only downside was the noisy train that goes by a few times a night… we hear everything in a pop up.

Disappointed

Well we stayed here for two nights and frankly I wasn’t very impressed. The Campground is really only for permanent residents, everyone else ends up in a dirt lot essentially. Nearest bathrooms were a bit of a hike, so were all amenities. We paid for water and electric. The noise level was crazy… especially as we have a pop-up. I guess they don’t really enforce quiet hours. We got in late and finding our campsite was hard in the dark if you’ve never been there before. Lots of bugs at night. Honestly you pay $50 a night just to be by a lake and for me it wasn’t worth it 🤷‍♀️.

We will be back!

Only stayed here one night but we thought it was pretty nice. A little close to a busy road so for our pop up it was a bit noisy. Might try to get a campsite on the other side of the grounds next time. Nice heated pools and hot tub, Clean bathrooms/ shower rooms. Has a game room, pickle ball courts, Older playground, and a new dog run being built ( under construction). Sounds like there are plans to build a splash pad in the future. Free donuts on Saturday mornings too! Close to a gas station and Frys Food so you don’t need to go far if you need anything.
