From the start, this was a bad decision. Even though we advised them of the size of our RV, 44' and 20k lbs, they put us in a back in space that was on a steep hill with loose gravel. It did not work. This was a $68/night spot. Next, they recommended a pull-through spot for $125/night. For 3 nights we did not feel they had anything to justify the price. The reason for the exorbitant price is because "it was furtherest from the highway". So they "found" another pull-through for only $78/night that would handle our rig and truck. They let us look at the site but took us to the site next to the one they were offering, which was mostly flat. Our site had one-third of the site was also on a hill. So the back 1/3 of our RV was 5' off the ground. We could not use our outdoor kitchen without a ladder. We did not use it. Fortunately, we were not in camp much during our 3-night stay. This may be an ok spot for those looking for a city life experience with RVs stacked on top of one another. That is not why we travel in an RV. HTR is trying to be another KOA, according to the staff. We do NOT stay at KOAs either. We are not coming back to this campground.
