Wonderful!

Very nice RV park. They have done alot of improvements so everything is clean and new. All pull through sites, level sites, a new bath house with large showers and laundry facilities. The only complaint is that there is not much shade, but they have planted trees, so are trying. The manager/caretaker is busy everyday working on keeping the property nice & in good working condition. Very nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing!

Stayed 1 wonderful peaceful night. Electric hookups, water available & shower. Out in the country surrounded by corn fields. Owned by a lovely couple who reside on the property in their old farmhouse. Not far off of I70, but absolutely no road noise. A great place to stay after a long day of driving. Would absolutely stay here again.

Rest stop

Nice, clean rest stop. Right next to the highway so expect some traffic noise, but it wasn't too bad at night. Lots of trucks so felt safe here. Even saw a sheriff car come through in the morning, so I assume they patrol at night as well.

Lovely view of mountains!

Very large rv park with full hookups, showers, laundry, and community building. Was not busy when we were here, so we did not have anyone next to us, but the sites are very close to each other. The lake and boat launch are just down the road. Set off the main highway enough that you don't hear alot of traffic noise. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Wonderful views of the mountains.

Surprised!

Was pleasantly surprised by how nice this free campground was. Each site has a covered picnic table, grill, fire pit & garbage bin. They are spaced out nicely. There are pit toilets, but no water or dump facilities. These fill up fast, so come early. Most people leave early in the morning, so if you can get here before noon, you may get lucky. We arrived around 11 am & there were only 2 sites open. The road coming in was a bit rough and has quite a deep dip in the road. We were here in April and it stayed full.

Nice!

Well maintained, relatively quiet location off from main roads. Sites are a little close but are gravel and pretty level. If you don't need hookups, there are some beautiful sites down by the river with a lot of shade. There is some shade in the main area. Just down the street from Aztec Ruins, which I highly recommend. Nothing fancy, but owner is very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful!

Remote, wooded, serene. Sites are gravel, but not very level. Each site has a picnic table, grill & fire pit. Some sites have power, but none have sewer or water hookups. There is a dump station & drinking water. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place.

Very Cool!

Quiet, relaxing & convenient to the town of Cloudcroft. The owners are very nice and very accommodating. Everything was clean & in good working condition. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area.
