Most spots are nicely spread out. The creek is one of the further reaches of the Missouri River. Walking distance to the rustic Elkhorn Hot Springs Resort where you can swim and get a bite to eat. A short drive to crystal park where you can dig up quartz and amethyst. We got snow on Labor Day weekend (still Summer!), so check the forecast.

Walk along the road at night for a nice spooky stroll. Obviously built for boating. Eldest daughter says it was “cute”.

The road coming in has some pretty steep hills. Our site was good for hammocks. Nice that the horse area was separated from the non-horse area. The showers appear to be coin-op but were free when we were there.
