Close to everything. Racing just down the street. That’s a positive or negative. On the nights they are racing you hear I’m the cars at the track. There are no amenities but they do have a fenced dog park. The sites aren’t bad there’s just no shrubs or trees or anything. It’s just really good gravel and some grass and a picnic table. The people in the office are really nice and helpful. If you need work on your rig, there are lots of places real close by as well as camping world.
Nice people. Lots of trees and large spots. It’s also a short walk to the water. Close to several towns including Ft Walton Beach. We are currently at the Family camp and will bounce between the two campgrounds on base
Has by far not been my favorite. It’s divided into 3 parts. We are Accross the road with no swimming pool or dog park. The main camp has a pool but the hot tub is broken. The dog park they do have has been closed the entire time we have been here. The main camp ground is very crowded and close together but at least there is a lot going on compared to our side which is very very quiet except for the fair people who have started coming in. There is another pool in the third section but that has been closed forever. I also am not fond of the area itself. For some this might be great but if you have small kids I don’t think this is the camp ground for you. Luckily we have a membership because with the lack of amenities I would have been disappointed to pay the going rate.
I was worried when I booked it but it is actually a cute campground for those overnight stays. It is literally along the highway and so easy to get too. It keep in mind along the highway means highway noise. We wear earplugs at night so it didn’t bother us. The sites are close together but it also has that woodsy feel, even next to the freeway, that it wasn’t that bad and didn’t feel overly claustrophobic. People were friendly and there was a large field next to us that we took our dogs to to let off energy and do their thing. Sometimes with these along the road places you don’t know what you will get but this one is one I would recommend. It feels safe and I am not worried about my gas cans missing overnight.
They were remodeling to change to Margaritaville. It is huge and will have a small water park and swim up bar and huge clubhouse when done. The side we were on was bare just a few bare bushes. If they put in some trees it wouldn’t look like such a parking lot. Each lot does have their own strip of grass between the slabs of concrete. It was fairly cheap but I assume when everything is done the price will rocket. The people at the desk were friendly as well. Their are only a few lots that are full timers. The best part is the heavenly donut and the crawfish town restaurant. Both are delicious. Lots of places for fur baby to do their business. We would stay here again if the price isn’t ridiculously expensive.
Mostly full timers. Older rv’s. They have a couple spots for stop overs. The people are really nice and friendly. Lots and lots of dogs but there is no off leash area for them. There is also a mommy and her teenager donkeys who like carrots and apples.
We love it here. Right on the Colorado river plus two ponds to fish in. Lots of places to walk or ride your bikes. Management is very friendly and helpful. Their are also deer everywhere. They have off leash area for fur babies
Near I-10. Close together spots but orange, lemon, and grapefruit trees everywhere. They have 2 fenced dog runs. Pretty pool and hot tub. People are very friendly and helpful.
Really wonderful place. Reasonable prices. People are friendly, large pull threw sites, small and separate large dog off leash areas. SW landscaping with cactus’s and palm tree. They also have. Pool, 3 club houses and one of them is very large. They have activities through out the week. The have mail boxes as well. We love it hear. The only downfalls are internet and cell service is LTE and the office is only open until 3 and not open Sundays. I can live without all of that.
It is smaller and there is a pool and a couple club houses. Each stop has a tree and gravel. Most of the spots are small. We barely fit on ours with a 42’fifth-wheel and truck and we didn’t unhook. I would overnight here but I would stay more then that. The lady was friendly on the phone but they close at 5 or 6. There is nothing close to walk too and there isn’t a store down the road close.
We had just bought our rig down the street from this KOA. The staff was wonderful and they walked us through setting up the rv. Everyone was very friendly. It’s a beautiful camp ground. Close to a lot of things ie RV stores, food, etc. we are planning to visit again soon. It is by far our favorite place
Love the camp ground and the staff. The spaces are nice. Lots of things to keep kiddo’s busy. It’s not to far from San Francisco without having to go into town with your rig. There is a regular mall and a outlet mall just down the road a bit
It has a beautiful view of the lake. It’s also not to far from the commissary and gas station. Though we had problems with the camp sites. 1st one had a bad power pole and the next one the water leaked. Still we would return.
We are here in November for a week. We really love it here. The staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of trees in our section separating us but in other sections your really close to each other. It is first come first serve and lucky us we got 50 amp. I would scout the map and be first for checkin just in case someone left that day because their are only a few 50 amp. Hopefully you aren’t spending too much inside to matter but we have a washer dryer and a residential fridge and a small fridge. Looks like newer picnic tables and they also provide fire rings. You are about 20 minutes from downtown Redmond. We will definitely stay here again. I bet summer is really busy because it’s a great area. Also not far from Snoqualmie falls and lots of hiking available. Really nice laundry room and play area for kids. I wish they had a fenced off leash area for dogs but they do have 3 different potty areas for them.
