We stayed in site #17, it was pretty private as we didn't really have anyone around us. The bathroom was clean and the site itself was well maintained. Firewood was for sale at the camp store or through the hosts. Gets super cold at night! Showers were available at the camp store as well as laundry.
We only stayed here 1 night, but during that 1 night we had 3 different people walk up to or through our site who were lost. It was unsettling since the campground is pitch black and they seemingly came out of the woods. Other than that the bathrooms were clean, the store was close and well stocked and it was very quiet. There didn't seem to be very many people in our loop
The campground is nice, not super loud. The bathrooms were always clean, but usually full of people. The sites were huge and we were able to set up a couple hammocks. The bear boxes seemed to be shared though since some sites didn't have them. Also, we heard elk at night which was super cool.
This campground is super beautiful! The spots are nice and the bathrooms are clean. The sites are pretty close together though so it's not super private. Also, the showers and laundry are token- based and the token machine only takes exact cash but the atm only gives out $20, so beware. Plus the $3 charge to use the atm
The campground is in a great location right next to the visitors center and right inside the park. The campsites themselves are not great. The ground is extremely hard, it was impossible to stake the tent down. At night it gets extremely windy so you will wake up all night long because the whole tent is shaking and slapping around. There are no showers and no bear boxes. I understand that there are no bears but there are other creatures who will break into your things to get food, so you'll have to keep all of your food in your car which can be annoying. Lastly, our campsite had no trees or shade so it was blazing hot. The only upside was that we were out most of the time and there is a river near the site so you can go swimming to cool off. Overall, Zion was amazing but I wouldn't return to this campground.
This campsite is very nice as it has hot showers, cellphone service and is close to town. We needed to run to Target for a few things and it was about 15 minutes away. The downside is that it can be loud. Since it's not secluded you can hear traffic and sirens from the road. We were on site #16 and it was a good spot. Some sites seemed like they could use more privacy, but ours was nice. Also, there is a trail down to the beach that is highly enjoyable. Overall, camping here was very nice and comfortable, but I docked one star because I could hear traffic and sirens from our tent and we were closer to the beach than the road.
The campsite is pretty far back, but still on the road. The sites are a good size and there was a bathroom near our's (#25). There is no running water in the camp so be prepared to bring water with you for washing dishes, drinking and general cleanliness. There is a small creek that runs through the site, so be sure to bring bug spray for all the mosquitos. The site was enjoyable, but you will hear cars and campers driving past you to other sites, so I docked one star. Also, the stars are great out there.
