Very much an RV campground. If you like fishing for bass, this is a good area to start
Great hikes, cool wildlife. Bring your dslr.
Under construction as of April 2018. Nice enough. Decent flowy riding in here on the mountain bike.
Awesome hikes around here, best of the whites.
Also site of the wizarding school. Tougher hike than you'd expect. Always disappointing to see cars at the top. Get there by 4 and have a summit beer at the lodge.
God access to some beginner flowy mountain bike trails.
Great camping spot to road ride from. Nice park. Good access to surrounding new England towns.
Intereating sites, well built. Not particularly near much for real outdoor activities. Decent place to be close to treehouse brewery
Sites close together, lots of RVs, not cheap. Cheaper than a hotel for kingdom trails though and right next to lake Willoughby
Rangers keep track so make sure you pay! Great river access, and sturdy bear boxes. Lovely spot. Good access to hikes. Near some short waterfall hikes.
Great flat sites, ask the ranger for a recommendation. We got one right near the river which was great for relaxing and wahsing up!
Free sites, first come first serve. Definitely some disrespectful neighbors but sites aren't closely packed. Get there early as possible as people can post up for a week there. Great launch pad for hiking and mountain biking.
Often crowded, very busy. Perfect access to Franconia Ridge hikes. Mix of RVs and tents.
True primitive sites. First come first serve. Awesome feel. Cool road. Great access to tripyramid hikes. Somewhat isolated.
Great for primitive camping. Beautiful area adjacent to the river. Set up a hammock on the shoreline and have a tasty beverage before bed. Sites can be close together.
