Easy access to West Yellowstone and Henrys Fork

Nice enough State Park. Busy with RV's and families, but easy access to West Yellowstone and fishing on the river. Be prepared for wind.

Stunner in the wilderness

What a treat to drive through Centennial Valley and get to camp in this great spot. Views all around and to wake up to a Trumpeter Swan swimming and eating right off our campsite was awesome. This is the real wilderness so come prepared - no signal, few services and there are bear though we did not see any sign. The pit toilet is basic and clean and we drove east in the morning to get to West Yellowstone. Really a spectactular bit of scenery. We will be back.

Hidden gem in Idaho

This was a great spot to pull into. A beautiful drive in and a lovely campsite right next to a creek. Clean pit toilets, easy parking, and a nice hike to cover before dinner. Great tree cover and easy access from the car to the campsite. Highly recommend!

Good rest stop as you head into the west

Right off the 15 - Cedar City nearby - an easy overnighter as you head into Tetons, Yellowstone or Glacier from Southern California. There is a great little hike to a nice waterfall off a dam, too, if you arrive early enough. It is noisy from road traffic, so if you can get a spot away from the road that would be to your advantage to a good night sleep. Showers are about the best you can find and wifi is availabvle.

Camp on the headwater of the Madison!

What can you say? It's Yellowstone where the Fire Hole and Gibbon converge to make the mighty Madison River. Great campsites, clean facilities and easy access to all areas of the park. Fly fishing right outside your door and this is the birthplace of our National Park system. Camp host, employees and rangers are all so helpful and just great to talk to. This is the summertime camping experience. Can't wait to get back!

a gem overlooking the Missisippi!

Wow - well done, Wisconsin. What a beautiful park to pull into after a long day of driving. Lovely drive in to the park and then to pull up to an immaculate campsite was a treat. Fireflies emerged as we began to setup camp and we watched the sunset over the Missippi before calling it a night. Great facilities, easily accessible and my only regret is we couldn't spend more time here! We'll visit on our next cross country trip for sure.
