All sites are clean. They clean out fire pits after every weekend. Some sites were not the most level. All Roads are newly paved. New/Updated Dump station. Once you enter the park, there are some drastic hills to navigate. We didn't get to use the lake. It was refilling, via letting nature fill the lake back up. I'm not sure why, but the lake was drained some time back, when the park was closed for over a year for the maintenance that was done.
Some sites were tight and the lack of fire rings was disappointing.
I drove though this SP CG yesterday. Very spacious sites. Clean park, nice bath-house. Extra bonus, a great lake to fish on. This also had hunting for those that hunt. But there are multiple sites that would be challenging to level! Fire pits are enormous!
All sites were spacious. Bathrooms were very clean. Very large CG. Plenty of water spickets. Beautiful area on the Mississippi rivers, Mile's of trails, breathtaking bluffs with views of the river and valley.
Our site was kind of tight. But overall, walking around most sites were spacious. CG was very clean.
Great CG, roomie sites, clean, and plenty of amenities
We love this place. Problem is it's a State park and the state has not fixed a shower house and dump station. It's been not working since 2020. Because of this, only three stars. If those items works like they should, then four stars.
Had Electric and Water hookup. Very roomy and level sites. It's about 9 years old, so no trees. No swimming or fishing. Only hiking trails.
Because of being right on top of other campers. Also, almost everything is gravel.
