A great spot to enjoy the forest. really good fishing, and close to tons of hiking trails. Elevation is above 6000’ feet so typical mountain weather to be expected…..I.e. expect the unexpected thunderstorms or mountain winds.

Went camping/exploring to celebrate my wife’s birthday. And we were pleasantly surprised to find a nice spot overlooking the lake. The lake is small and it is recommended to take a high clearance 4x4 vehicle however we did have a Subaru Outback in our group and we made it back there without issue. No amenities so pack it in pack it out applied.
