This was a decent camp ground for passing though the area. Trees and mostly dirt grounds with little vegetation. Quiet with plenty of space, but tent pads were not as level as other camp grounds. Facilities were also not as good. Average vault toilet, water available, but had to walk up to the entrance for garbage. It was a great location to stay and then drive to Ross Creek Cedar trail which is a short hall through amazing old growth cedars
Very quiet and beautiful spot. Our site had a nice open meadow and was right next to access to the river. We spent the afternoon with our chairs on the riverbank and dangling our feet in the water. One of the cleanest vault toilets I have been in!
Great campground, clean, quiet, and well leveled tent pads. Water and vault toilets and garbage bins scattered throughout so each site is close to one. $16 for one vehicle and $5 for an additional. The highlight is the view of the lake. One trail on the north end of the park is about a 1/4 - 1/2 mile long which takes you up the hill across a beautiful meadow then drops you to the lake. The south end of the campground has multiple camp sites that you walk into from the parking area that are with 1/8-1/4 mile that are situated along the ridge and overlooking the lake. Beautiful views!
