Right in the river this is a great location to base camp. Lots of families but quiet and well kept. We stayed in a cabin right on the river and it was lovely cool and quiet. Drive into pray mt for some awesome bbq and bluegrass music ! Chico hot springs a short drive away as well
Stayed here while attending a music camp in Bozeman. The owners were super nice. Easy drive into Bozeman and to nearby trails. Shade. Showers and pretty quiet. Quite a few long term stayers. Cheaper than any motel and nice to have your own camper while doing stuff in town.
We stop here on occasion on our way back to Idaho. The camp is really old and not many campers but shady and bathrooms clean. We usually camp in very back by the farm so very quiet. Heard coyotes and lots of owl pellets around camp. Fun diner not too far away is the Peach Pit. Burgers milkshakes etc. eat in or out and even drive in service last time we were there.
This park is a great stopover on your way through Utah or weekend visit. The lake is clean and still very natural. The swans circling the water are something to see. Lots of shade rustic but serviceable showed. A bit pricy at 30 a night but right off the highway and no real traffic noise.
Long gravel road to access but worth it. No facilities so bring what you need lots of excellent dispersed sites. Cold streams near sites. Hiking is great
Small loop with no traffic or noise. Bike distance to Harriman trail and easy access into Ketchum for a coffee or wine run ! Stream to wash up in. No water or electric but clean out bathroom. Water is available a short walk to a different campsite. Awesome views.
This is our first night stop point. Campground is usually pretty full and a lot of rather permanent residents. Close to freeway and a lot of freeway noise at night. Not the most modern restrooms and could be cleaner. But serviceable.
This is our fav stopover when traveling through Midwest. It Is the cleanest camp! Small but shade trees and very clean restrooms. Swimming pool. We have also stayed in camper cabins when it was too hot to camp. Excellent cabins with ac , ask for one in shade ! Nice porches and tables.
We stay here while visiting family nearby Ohio. Lots of shade and quiet even with families and usually pretty full, hosts are extremely nice and accommodating. Swimming pool is clean. Not far from highway but no real traffic noise. Check out the Template of Tolerance a few miles away in Wapakoneta. Definitely with a visit.
This location is great for the fall or spring getaway. Only half a dozen sites. No electric or water on site but water is available by visitors center as is an amazingly clean and modern restroom ! The views are stupendous and I recommend taking a hike at dark across the bridge and up the Mesa and stargaze. Good hiking that is pretty flat and mtn biking as well.
