Many open spots. Beautiful and quiet. Our GPS put us on a dirt road for a few miles - however it was well maintained and not too rutted. Large camping spot with fire ring. Clean area. Definitely a gem in the trees.
Whereas there are only a very few prime camping spots - that were full, there was also a nice level and large gravel parking lot that did the trick for a quick overnight. The cell service was the best, most likely because there were several cellular towers looming overhead.
A beautiful camping area. It was very clean with many camping spots. It is popular however, and there was only one spot left, but it fit our trailer perfectly. It was quiet here except for the howling wind. We were treated to the most beautiful sunset and the twinkling city lights afterwards.
We came in after dark, but the roads were clear and it was easy to set up. Quiet.
Great place to stop right off the road on the way to Sedona. Lots of places to camp - however it is off season and mid week. It was a little muddy and rutted, but it was raining. We could hear the freeway - however, I am guessing the further you go in - the less road noise. Full Verizon signal. Would happily stay here again.
We came in just before dark. We couldn’t find any empty spots as easy access spots were scarce as we are towing a 26 foot trailer. However if you have a small 4x4 - you shouldn’t have a hard time finding a spot.
