Amazing views and setting in this campground. Stand up paddle board in the cove or go for a surf a little bit down the road. Electrical hook ups and showers are available. One of california's better state park!
3 minute walk into downtown idyllwild, with its great bars and restraunts. Strangely also seems seculed from downtown and quiet. About 2 hours drive and you can take the tram car in palm springs up to the top of Mt. Jacinto and cool off, maybe there will be snow?
Can get super windy! Great over roading and hikes in this enormous state park. Come prepared for anything!
Amazing spacious campground, but no showers. Bummer.
Close to downtown Guernville and the Russian River Brewery. Access to the Salmon River Beach, which has great surfing and fun for the whole family. Beautiful campsites with clean bathrooms and showers.
Can get a bit windy here but there are some wind breaks set up at some campsites. No reservations taken. A little less than an hour to the Poppy Preserve. Clean bathrooms and great desert views with J Tress everywhere.
Showers are here and the kitchen washing station is solid. Good bathrooms, good campground, close to all the action. Really enjoyed this site, despite the rain.
Great location, showers are here! Only problem is the the entire side of the grand canyon on the yellowstone…..not accessible. Kind of a bummer. We were right next to the bathrooms. They really should let you pick you site. Sites are assigned at random.
Great campsite, if it only had showers! Great washroom for dishes and the ranger led program at night was great. Can hear the Madison pack of wolves at night too!
Beautiful views, big old train going through the tunnel of a mountain. Wild little spot.
Get there early, and be patient, first come first serve and ultra popular! Insane views of the tetons! Short hike to Jenny Lake and the boat dock. There is a great hike that leads to an incredible waterfall on the other side! For the win!
Great place to stay if near Canyonlands NP or just in general. Great view, great spot.
Small if on the power hook up side. Quiet and quaint
Hard to get reservations…lol
Still some snow on the ground in late May.
Great views, super underrated national monument and campground.
Near the DUNES!!! Can be windy!
Stayed at Jimez loop, site #86. Its got everything you need, except a ton of shade.
Close to Scottys Castle, a little elevation and a bit cooler than the other campgrounds for sure. Also a lot nicer views and just the best damn site in the park!
does it really matter if you are at north campground or sunset campground….you are at bryce and you are winning!
