Dispersed camp nearby

The Marster Spring campground is about 8 miles up a gravel road outside of Paisley, OR. There are a number of dispersed camping sites along that road, some of which have rock fire pits. I camped for a night in a secluded spot right on the Chewaucan river. The campground itself has toilets and fire rings. Quiet and peaceful night listening to the water.

Early season

Camped for a night at Little Fawn earlier this week and had the campground entirely to myself. There were several people using the day use area who left after dark. Campsite #3 was perfect to pull through and park my car to sleep in my rooftop tent. The site backed up to a large field that used to be deep-ish pond. A bit windy and lots of mosquitos, but quiet and felt somewhat secluded. Good cell service for Verizon users. Fire pits and picnic tables at every site as well as pit toilets and garbage dumpsters nearby. Great beach area in the day use spot, perfect for a day on the water and a fire as the sun goes down.
