We’ve been there only once, the experience was okay. The site we have was pretty closed to the others and so at night it got a bit loud :/
Cute and friendly campground by Launt pond :) We were there in May and there were plenty of empty sites so it was nice and quiet.
We had a great time at the campground. We did a road trip while pregnant with our first girl so we had a camper van. The sites were spacious and clean so were the bathrooms.
Just amazing. We walked in and got a site on the same day! We only were able to secure two night but after that we book a nice canvas tent at Curry Village to give us some more time to explore Yosemite!
We did a west coast camping road trip around September. Once we hit red wood national park, all site were booked. But we ended up at the state campground and it was great! It was clean, family friendly etc. They have coin showers so bring lots of chain!
We camped there in the middle of September. It was just beautiful and barely busy. Beautiful place to take night walks on the beach.
We had an amazing experience at crater lake. It was pretty cold at night in September and the park store had warm blankets :) the steel hikes and worth it once you are looking over the crater!
We have gone there a few times. They don’t take reservations but there’s always some sites open. We have walked in and book a site. Twice though in June we had tons of ticks 😬 but overall is a good site! A couple of times we had loud neighbors and it seemed that the ranger was out for lunch so nobody was making sure that quiet hours were enforced.
This is cute small campground. Most of the sites are gravel so being extra pad foe the tent. The rangers were very friendly and helpful.
This is a beautiful campground! We go there every year and it was the first campground we took our first daughter at 5 months. We are bringing our second daughter this year! The sites and big enough foe the little ones to run around and has a cute little playground area. The bathrooms could use an upgrade but overall, they are great and clean.
