Simplistic site right on the water

Sea Rim State Park is a strange but nice place. Having to pass by the refinery on the way in to the state park, the campgrounds make up for it by being right along the water with every camping necessity for a night on the beach!

Comfy campground just outside of downtown

This campground has it all! A bunch of amenities, the campgrounds were clean and well kept and they even offer a reasonably priced shuttle to downtown and back. Definitely staying here again when I am in the area!

Quaint, family friendly campground

I recently stayed at Yosemite Lakes Park Campground with a number of colleagues of mine and had an amazing time! Although we spent most of our time in Yosemite Valley, hiking and exploring, the drive into the valley was not too long and quite a pleasant one to say the least. Yosemite Lakes Park Campground is tucked in nicely in the surrounding wilderness and has a very family friendly vibe with plenty of amenities. There may not be a pool but the river has several areas that are great for wading about.

Although there could have been better wifi, like most campgrounds, it's almost a blessing in disguise to unplug and live in the moment.

Cheers!

Under The Watchman & next to The Virgin River

I only have positive things to say about this experience. It was my first time exploring Zion NP and went for the first come first serve check in with a few buddies of mine. We left the bay area the night before, took turns driving until we arrived in the early morning. We spoke with a ranger whom gave us a site, not a bad one but after speaking with him further, he insisted on taking our map to relocate our stay. To our surprise, as my review title states-we were relocated right under The Watchman and next to The Virgin River. Truly one of the best campsite locations I've ever had. The sunrise/sunset shining on The Watchman was more than my photographer-eyes could have asked for and the sound of The Virgin River singing me to sleep was the more blissful lullaby. Of course we spent most of our time hiking and exploring the park but this campsite was the icing on the cake.

Family, friends, dogs and camping... How could it be better?

A few friends and I recently spent 4 days camping at this beautiful ranch right outside of Duncan Mills and absolutely loved our stay. We spent much time swimming in the river, playing on the basketball court and hanging out at camp. The site was extremely clean and well set up, the staff was friendly and helpful and the natural beauty that surrounds the area was more than exceptional. Not to mention, there are a few places just outside of the ranch that has great food and live music, definitely worth checking out!

My only complaint would be regarding the lack of wifi. I suppose it's nice to get away from it all, it truly is, but I needed to respond to a few work emails as well as calls and the wifi/reception was nowhere to be found. Again, I'm not truly complaining about this but it's worth noting for those that may have business to handle while taking a getaway.

Cheers!
