Lovely slice of the north country

Camper.on the beach on a friends property on the lake, canoed and enjoyed the area. There are campgrounds on or near the lake as well. It was a very peaceful retreat. The lake was quite calm and pleasurable to paddle.

Off season. Seclusion

Had practically the whole campground to ourselves.

Water was turned off for winter which wasn't entirely clear. The RV fill was shutdown too. Water option we're the lake or a 30 min drive into town for bottled. Not a big deal but something to be prepared for.

Convenient getaway

This is one of our go-to places. They have RV sites that vary in size and quality but we almost always go.for the primitive sites. Vault toilets and water are available and a shower building is just up the hill. Lots of wildlife and.close to hiking, biking, and fishing.

Fabulous base camp for williamsburg

We had a site near the back which were smaller. This was a good trade-off for the shade -- it was hot! Kids loved the pool and play structures. Dog enjoyed the small fenced run with agility equipment. Overall it was a great place to come back to relax after going through the historic sites in the area.

Loud, buggy, broke

There were a couple obnoxious parties going on, the bugs were trying to.carry us off. We got put in the back lot near where they store RVs and boats. Our water tap was sawed off. Electrical worked but was surprised. Showers were functional but non impressive.

Peaceful retreat near Niagra

Great location on Lake Ontario. Spacious campsites, great views. Convenient to.niagra falls.

Camp store was low on a number of items but there was a grocery close by right off the Niagra parkway.
