Weekenders Beware!

This seems to be a campground that attracts revelers to the larger sites. Two campsites to the right of one I usually book (#49) is spacious and generally has two to three tents on weekends. This means more partying and noise well into the wee hours of the morning. Rangers don't patrol the campground at this time, and the camp host doesn't come around either, so complaining the next morning is after the fact. Reservations are indeed required for weekends, but campers can usually squeeze by this requirement in the middle of the week when less sites are reserved. It's not entirely peaceful because traffic can be heard emanating from the nearby highway and another road leading to a campground further up the mountain.
