Great campground.

Great place to stay!! Everything is black topped. Sites are very long, water hydrants are boxed in with stone. So, if it drips a little it won't get muddy. Sewer hook up is flush to the ground with a manhole cover over it. Won't drive over it & break it. Fire ring & picnic tables on every site. Beach & fishing pier with in walking distance. All sites are angled & very easy to back into. No pull thru sites here, but trust me Super easy to back into. Only 40 sites, so not terribly big. Campground is on a military training ground, so there are discounts for active military.

Nice place

Lots of trees. Owners seemed very nice. Great AT&T service. Very peaceful.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay! You will not find better campground owners, they are amazing. After office hours they can be commonly found hanging out with their campers. Pick up cornhole games, bonfires, are the norm at the community building. Alot of their sites are along a small creek which the kids play in and can float down. Site 26 is our favorite. It has a huge back yard and easy access to the creek. Close by is Ligonier, Idlewild, and St. Vincent (where the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp takes place.) Check it out you won't be disappointed!

Very nice campground

Very well cared for, lots to do. Swimming pool with small water slide, fishing pond, jumping pillow, events at picnic shelter. Campground is very busy. Lots of people coming and going. Not to far off the interstate and very big rig friendly. Stayed here while shooting some sporting clays in the area. If I were ever back in the area I would stay there again. Water pressure is pretty high make sure you use a regulator. David O. is right. Sites are pretty close together. Didn't really matter to us as we were camping beside some other people that were with us. Had we not been though, it would have been uncomfortable.

If your bored here its your own fault.

TONS of stuff to do here. Very big campground, all kinds of sites. Reserve early for Holiday Weekends as it fills up. Lots of seasonals. Inflatable slides and such in the lake, hiking trials, playgrounds, all sorts of stuff. Is a little pricy but not as bad as other places like it I have been to. No phone service at all, no matter the carrier. Be advised it will seem a little sketchy getting in. The road dead-ends into the campground and it is all downhill getting there. Take your time and all will be just fine. Our rig is 39' & 16K. 4wd low helps, not cause you need 4wd just for the lower gears.

Great campground for kids

Lots for the kids to do. Good sized fishing lake, swimming pool, inflatable slide, playgrounds, jumping pillow. Lots of seasonals here, so lots of golf carts running around. The sites that our friends and I were in I wasn't real happy with. Stepped gravel sites. No grass at all, kinda tight. Oh and look out for the peacocks, they like to sit of vehicles & campers. I had to run them off several times. Kinda hard when their "home" was right beside our site.

Great park for seeing Acadia

Close to Acadia NP. Large number of LARGE (100' Plus) pull thru sites. Quite place. Wal Mart, Gas stations, Cell phone stores, Lobster pounds very close by. My son swam in the salt water pool and said he liked it. Roads are paved. Worked out perfectly for us.
