So so...

Fairly nice grassy, well spaced campsites. Lake ain't much more than a pond. Very quiet and remote which is a plus BUT… bathhouse was DISGUSTING! Not sure when the last time anything was cleaned. Was planning on staying 7 days but bailed after two. Couldn't take the filth in the facilities. No cell service (t-mobile). Short drive to Appalachiacola but everything there uber-expensive! Will not be back….

Lucked out!

Wow… last minute rez to stay here and feels like we won the lottery! Super camp sites. Well spaced, full hookup and cheap! Great swimming and kayaking in the river. Close to shopping. Quiet Campground (for us anyway). Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful campground

Well spaced, clean sites. Stayed one night enroute but would like to stay longer. Pick a side for sunrise or sunset. Lots of trees so solar could be an issue unless it's a portable panel. No water or electricity but has clean restrooms, water and dump available.

Clean and quiet

Like the title, clean and quiet campground. Same price as state park with more evenly spaced sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great view of lake! Stopped for one night but would stay again if in area.

Quiet place off the beaten path

Nice campground out of the way. Very polite rangers. Sad the lake is so low … climate change, but enjoyable 2 days. Petroglyphs were cool! Tip: best campsite would be #17 - trust me ;) Hottest, highest pressure (ie: exfoliating showers) I've ever had in a campground!
