Quiet in a beautiful setting

We stayed here to see the fall colors. The park is laid out very nice. The sites are nice size with gravel. They are under trees so we could watch the colors change. There is some nice amenities but not all were in use this time of year. It is a short drive to the beach and the town of Kennebunkport. They have some fun alternatives to stay in if you don’t have an RV or want family to visit. A quiet place with friendly staff.

Older park but under new management

We stayed in November. The sites were gravel and level. They were very close together. It was quiet most of the time. We did find out it was recently sold and the new owner has plans to do some improvements so it should be better as time goes on. It was very convenient for visiting Vicksburg and the battlefields. I recommend visiting this town. It is cute and could benefit from so more tourism.

Nice park close to amenities

We stayed here in November so didn’t have any bug problems. It is a new park and very well laid out. The sites are large and easy to pull in and out. They don’t have any extras like clubhouses so you can tell they don’t cater to snowbirds. But it is convenient to heading up to Dallas or south to Waco. The park has a man made lake with jogging trails. We enjoyed our stay.

Good stop on the road

It is a smaller campground but they keep it nice. It is rustic but clean. Full hookups and shade. Great place to stop over when on a trip.
