awesome lakeside campsite
one of our favorite campgrounds by Crested Butte. super close to lake. close to awesome hikes. not too far from town. you can fish, kayak, or paddle board on lake. great views of Ruby Range.

only 4 sites I think. if you get a spot, you’re super lucky as there is no dispersed camping allowed in Gothic valley during peak summer months. if you camp in the site when you first come in, you have a great view of Avery peak. close to a lot of hikes, ie rustler gulch, Judd Falls, emerald lake, schofield Pass, town of gothic. awesome little campground
near town and to trailhead
great area to camp if your planning to hike into the oh be joyful basin, the hike is awesome! also not too far from town. you wIll need high clearance vehIcle to cross Slate river.
