Crab Flats Campsite Beautiful Sunset’s

Do not follow Edison Road This is a narrow, and intermediate trail for ATVs. Do no recommend unless you have experience, someone to spot you and high clearance Jeep or aftermarket suspension. Follow Green Valley Lake Rd to Crab Flats Rd. The campsite is spacious although, not private from each site. The camp host visit twice a day and keep the place clean. This place is primarily for dirt biking. The mosquitoes were terrible from morning to nighttime. The campground is about an hour south of Big Bear and 25 minutes from Lake Arrowhead. There are fire rings, table, trash cans and 2 bathrooms with vault toilets.

Yaqui Pass Camp, Borrego Springs

Easy access and near the main highway. Disperse camping, pack in and pack out! Very windy. Close to the town of Borrego Springs. One night is plenty, because of the windy conditions.

Hanna Flat, CA Lots of Shade

Hanna Flat campgrounds are filled with lots of shade due to the big beautiful trees. The parking spots are a bit small in some campsites. Each site included a table, fire ring and bear safe locker. Each site was spread out and lots of space for 2-4 tents. The distance to downtown Big Bear is around 25 minutes. The drive up to the campsite was a bit bumpy, although the trail was a nice view. There is a small store before you start the trail with wood, ice, drinks and miscellaneous last minute camp essentials.

Cattail Cove, AZ Great Campgrounds

The Cattail Cove Campgrounds are perfect for a beginners camp site. The campsites are flat and easy to back in your car and set up your tent. The table on site is big enough to sit 6 people. There is water on site and a fire ring. The staff was very helpful and the gift shop has ice, firewood, ice cream bars, and small essentials for sale. The reason for the 4, is due to the dog beach being a small rocky area and the water wasn’t as clean.
