Park is close to Murfreesboro and Nashville. Close to great restaurants and shopping. Staff is very friendly and is always open to helping you. Park is quiet.
Ok forget the ever running trains not to far from back of campground or the 3 mile drive on a dirt and gravel road, this is a beautiful park. The river that runs through it has great fishing. (Just down from fish hatchery) Just wish they had sewer sites available. Staff was great and very friendly. Beautiful falls nearby.
Was scheduled to be there for 6 nights. This park is in the middle of no where. No one at guard house when we arrived about 1 pm. Finally got someone to come and show us where to park. We have a 45 ft class A. We needed a 50 amp site. Only 50 amp sites had annuals on it. Site he took us to was so uneven. He just said pick one and took off. While trying to get rig in place an extremely large tree broke off and barely missed us. Dump station was in such a bad place we couldn’t get to it. The next day my husband and I drive around an we estimated only 25% of the sites are useable. Campground needs some TLC
We left after one night. Took two other rigs with us. They were disgusted also.
Called at last minute for reservation because the campground we were at was a nightmare. The people here were so nice and accommodating. When we drove in we were so excited. It is right along the Mississippi River. Every site is pull through and has a view. Staff are so friendly. Just minutes from downtown Memphis. Nice level sites. We will make this a regular for other sites.
