Perfect retreat for the family or solo adventure

Relax on the waters edge in shear tranquility. Perfect beach for swimming, excellent trails for hiking, and awesome lake to boat. Multiple launch ramps provide ease and convenience. Rent a canoe or kayak and head out for some time alone or with your favorite person. The cabins are heated but pets are not allowed. Campground is huge as are the sites. Some are premium, there’s a few ADA and some lakeside making for a great view to enjoy your morning coffee.

Great Place to enjoy the outdoors

Amazing views of the water and surrounding wooded areas. Good place to fish for bluegill and catfish. Awesome place to swim during daytime hours, just remember to us caution and don’t go out of designated area. Nice trails for hiking or taking a cruise on your bike. Spend the night at the camper cabin or if you have an RV hookup to one of the electric sites and enjoy the sunset. Wonderful place for the kiddos to learn about the great outdoors while enjoying some family time.

Come For Week and Never Want to Leave

Caves, waterfalls, trails-20 plus, scenery, views, it goes on and on. This State Park is widely respected and utilized by those near and far, the area is jaw dropping and folks are super friendly. The campground offers a lot of electric sites, restrooms, showers, pool, store, vending machines. Swim, bird watch, fish, the choice is yours.

An Outdoor Lover’s Dream

Boating, fishing, disc golf, rappelling, rock climbing, picnics, WOW! Put on those hiking boots to enjoy 10 varying difficulty trails, bring your bike for one, and hit the multi-use for mountain biking. Hang out and enjoy the wildflowers, or simply marvel the outstanding trees. The views and scenery are breathtaking. Stay at the campground and enjoy hanging with your pet by the fire pit. Some sites offer only electric while the majority do not. Restrooms and a dump station are provided. Have a large party, there’s a group camp available.

Mesmerizing

Who doesn’t like there own island This state park offers you 3, along with great views, beautiful scenery and 18 holes of golf, swimming and hiking options. You also can launch your boat at the marina or since Camping is also available there in the campground. This park has it all, 27 campsites, you can boat in, hike in or drive in and the boat in sites (16) offer your own lake view! Hike in (4) give you deep seclusion in the woods. Fire pits and picnic tables are provided. At the campground are restrooms, showers, and laundry. So no matter how you get here the thought of being on an island with seclusion and spectacular views should have you hooked for a day or longer.

Superb little place off of I-24

Amazing gem nestled off I-24. This campground offers almost all pull through sites, with a few being 100 feet long. Nice pool area with a community fire pit, and cool playground. Laundry room is big enough to live in and there’s a small store where you check in. Landscape immaculate and staff beyond friendly. Only a few issues. I you’re back around site 51 you get interstate traffic all the time and if you’re near site 9 it’s the running of the metal recycling center across the street. Also, the sign telling what to do after hours is placed where you can’t see it when it’s dark.

Charming

Cute, charming Ohio State Park. Enjoy 4 lovely hiking trails that showcase the parks features by taking you through the woods and fields. Fish is offered and their is boat dock . Only issue was that campground is walk in only . There are showers nearby and a dump station is provided. Overall this park is great for enjoying some quiet time.

The spots by the lake are outstanding !

Location, location, location! Grab a lake front spot and just hang out there! The park is in excellent condition and the facilities are just as clean and comfortable.

Great day trip from Cincinnati

Excellent location from Cincinnati, around 30 minutes. Hike along the hills, Fish for crappie and bluegill. Enjoy lunch at any of the 4 clean large areas. Stay at an electric only or full hookup spot and hang out by the campfire. This campground is spacious, clean and well kept and not to far from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Simply stunning and amazing

What an outdoor lovers dream! Boating to fishing to disc golf you will not get bored! Enjoy a few hours or the day hiking one of eight trails or all of them. If you have horses take them out on the two loops especially for them. Lodge, campground, cabins so many options. The campground was clean, quiet and serene. Only electric at the sites, but 2 of your favorite fur babies are welcome.

Beautiful and relaxing

Great place to take the family and unwind. Good dog park for the furry ones. Bring your boat for some water fun, fish, or simply float around. 3 easy trails to venture out on and take in the parks amazing scenery. With more than 280 campsites and several cabins there’s something for everyone.

Spectacular Sites Right on The Spit

Of course this being a prime location for tourists, locals, and others it can get pretty crowded especially during the “summer.” The views are so amazing you’ll quickly forget about your close neighbors. Walking distance to almost everything. Sunsets are out of this world.

Quiet hidden GEM

Convenient location near Delta Junction. Excellent camping spots with jaw dropping views on clear days. The Alaska Range is breathtaking. Bathrooms well maintained. Great place stay a night or two and if you’re lucky to enjoy the Northern Lights.

Great Location near Eagle River

Located around 5 minutes to Eagle River. Beautiful location on River. ADA accessibility. Dump station on site. Restrooms available. There is a fee and a limit on how long you can stay. It was 4 days when we were there. Trails are nearby and fishing opportunities.

Great place to take scenic photos

Excellent location on lake offering a spectacular view. Nice campground, cozy and only offers less than 70 sites. Full hookups are available at some. Picnic tables and fire rings are available at sites. There is also a dump station and restrooms available. Hiking trails are close. As is the Mendenhall Glacier accessible from the Visitor Center

Nice and Cozy

Very clean and well maintained campground. Some spots are shaded, while others sit in direct sun. A lot of sites are monthly and tight fitting. Nice lake, you are able to fish. Bathhouse is near entry and clean.

Secluded Hideaway

Tucked away on the quiet side of Pigeon Forge is this lovely family owned resort. You feel like you are hidden in the beautiful valley landscape when in fact hare less than 3 miles from the adventures of Dollywood. Park your RV at one of the pull thru or back in sites and enjoy full hookups, while watching cable TV. For those wishing to explore the RV life, rent a park model, or relax in a cabin. Save time and the hassle of trying to find a parking spot in Pigeon Forge by hopping on the trolley that runs through. Cool off from the Tennessee temps in the pool while the kiddos play at the playground.

Outstanding jaw-dropping slice of beauty

Nestled close to the Ohio River and the Shawnee State Forest, you will find rolling hills and valleys that offer serene beauty and picturesque landscapes. Wildflowers run rampant throughout this enchanted state park, and deer, raccoons, and turkey frolic throughout the more than 1,160 acre paradise. Challenge your family members for a round of mini golf or basketball, or set out on a geocaching adventure. Cruise along one of the numerous hiking trails and or set off on a relaxing ride on the two bridle trails. Rest your head at one of the campsites offering a dump station and showers, or stay in a cabin. If neither of those are your thing there is a beautiful lodge that provides swimming pools, a game room, and breathtaking views of either the river or forest.

Beautiful Tucked Away Gem

This stunning Eastern Kentucky State Park offers spectacular views of rock formations, tree lined roads, and a stunning lake. Whatever your pleasure may be, fishing, boating or golf, you will have amazing opportunities at this over 1,500-acre Park. Hike the couple of trees and admire the hemlocks, rhododendrons,ferns, and mosses. Stay at one of the 71 sites and enjoy gazing at the stars. There’s a dump station, restrooms, and laundry available. Located in Carter and Elliott counties you will simply fall in love with the hills and terrain.

Great Family Fun and Adventure

Such a wonderful family oriented campground with excellent amenities. Pets are allowed and the sites are gravel or concrete. Relax at the pool, enjoy mini golf, playing at the game room, mining for gems, or shooting some hoops. There is also a shuttle that will take you to Holiday World. Don’t have an RV? Not an issue, choose a cabin, cottage, or stay in one of the rental RVs. They offer restrooms, showers, heat, kitchens and a lot more.
