Lucky for us we were there during the week. Very quiet and nice, we were right on the river. Dirt sites which made for mud when it rained. Great pool. Ride to 3 hour tubing right back to the campground
I’ve already done a review for this park but they have recently renovated it I feel the need to redo it. Spots 1-17 have remained the same and are awesome. Spots 18-46 are second best. Even numbered sites on the lake are better than the odd numbered sites but both have a few of the lake. The rest of the sites ‘unfinished’ - no grass, weeds, and just need more attention. The photos are from site 33
Just stopped on our way. Nice park, nice people, and relaxing/quiet
We just stay for a one night stay along our way. Super nice staff, beautiful campground and so helpful. I would go here again
Are you looking for a camping place walking too the ocean? It’s right here. This place is right across the street, through a business, and right on the sand. Very nice staff also
Very few sites to reserve — many many many seasonal spots. The seasonal people were very nice to us ‘new comers’. Spots were right by the lake and the lake was awesome
This park has a lot to offer. Nice woodsy spots, plenty of restrooms and showers, and a bar/restaurant!! Tents sports are also really nice. Close to downtown Duluth (10 mins.)
We love it here. Sites are nice size, with trees. Trees all around. And a bonus — a bar/restaurant. We would come here again for sure
Really nice campground with activities and a BAR/Restaurant. Pool is also there and is nice. We had a great weekend went to bed a little early on Saturday night because of rain and woke up to snow!!!
This is a nice park with a lot of activities for kids including a pool and jumping pad. The main park of the campground has people packed in pretty close. There a some spots that are more expensive with more space. I thought this place was a little high priced in general.
This park had nice spots - grassy with level tar to park on. The pool had a perfect temperature and nice lounging area. Shuttle took you to the casino 24 hours a day.
We love staying here. All sites on grass, pool, and really nice campers & workers. Cannon Falls is such a nice town especially when the wine festival is going on. A little speedy, but we still go at least once a year
This is such a nice park. All spots have a lake view and the beach is within walking distance. We love it here. It’s not to easy to get spots on the holiday weekends, but somehow we managed it
This is such a wonderful campground in the middle of the cities. Very well kept, nice camping spots, beautiful hiking trails, and very nice staff.
Such a beautiful place and well maintained. Lots of hiking trails, a lake for fishing, playgrounds, and a man made lake for swimming. Two weird things: no alcohol and no dogs in the campground (yet they are allowed everywhere else in the park). We go here as often as we can
The lower area of this park is so nice and right near a river. The owners are really nice, bathrooms/showers clean and everybody is friendly.
Such a beautiful park with large sites. Nice playground for the kids. Fantastic bathrooms zoned showers.
We go to this campground once a year - week before Memorial Day Weekend. They offer a discount then, so we get the premium spots down by the river for a good price. We like spots 161 & 162 as you can park parallel with the river and nobody bothers you. It is just beautiful. I hear it becomes kind of a party place during the year, but we have not experienced that.
We enjoy this park a lot. We stay here 2-3 times per summer. Shuttle takes you to casino, but sometime we don’t even go there and just enjoy the area. Good things are level cement parking area and grassy spots. Bad thing is they don’t make you pay to make a reservation so people reserve a spot and don’t show up. My photo shows our row with 5 empty spots and they said they ere full.
