A prime spot to camp in McCall. Plan ahead and book early. Great campsites with full hook ups and amenities. Much to do around McCall, yet this campground is good for resting and enjoying the outdoors. Great shade and lots of room to play. Beaches are within walking distance.
Easy camping with a nice little beach area. Kids enjoyed the historical fearures. Adults enjoyed the historical accounts of the area.
This is our favorite FCFS campsite. We make sure to get there Thursday evening for a campsite. It will be full by Saturday afternoon. Campsites are rugged, but great to enjoy wildlife. The reservoir is beautiful and great for fishing. We enjoyed taking the boat out and enjoying the quietude of nature.
Campsites are well developed, but close together. This isn’t a place to sit at camp and enjoy the wilderness, but rather a place to park your trailer while you are visiting the museum, winery, or golf course. Provisions are close by. The proximity to the Boise area makes this a great getaway. We took our trailer here on a trial run and it was great to be close to home and close to stores for everything we didn’t think of before venturing out.
A large lawn area is well kept. Make sure to take your frisbee and lawn games. Paced roads are good for littles to cruise on their bikes.
Safe, clean, convenient campground.
