Easy in/out

Stopped for the night after a long drive. Spots are very nice for what we needed

Unbelievable !

Stayed here for five nights attending a family reunion. First time staying at a koa and it was awesome. From the site service firewood and food delivery, to the location and people who stopped here in their travels. I will definitely stay at a KOA again!

So nice stayed two nights

Stopped for the night and stayed two!

Very nice

Another great overnight spot when traveling. Host was warm and friendly and the trains overnight brought back many memories.

Great overnight stop

Great overnight stop while traveling. Price is extremely reasonable.

Great family outing

Again at Boulder Beach! This is a favorite spot. Never disappoints!

Still a great getaway

Lots more campers and even tents here in the wash now. But it still isn’t real crowded and is still quiet and dark at night for star gazing. Still a favorite.

Same great park!

We camp here regularly! Same great park but now has a reservation system that we like better. Although there are still 10 first come first served, the remainder are reservation only. Had a great time sharing thanksgiving with the family!

Great in town rv park!

We stayed at this location during the Sparks Rib cookoff. The only reason for four stars is due to how narrow the spots are. With the slide out and stairs down we were hanging over the edge of the pull through site. But nice quite park, clean bathrooms,a casino and 32 lane bowling alley! From here we visited the rib cookoff in Sparks, Civil war days in Virginia City and several other areas during our stay. Would definitely book again.

Very quite and comfortable

I really liked the views! Sites were somewhat different but level and solid. But the whole drive thru the neighbors front yard threw me for a minute until I got the gist of it. Very quite! Gas available for less than five dollars a plus as well! Lake mead is extremely low so, it wasn’t the best place for handicap access. But beautiful scenery!

Favorite local campground

Stayed here for the second half of vacation. Lows in the 70s, highs in the 90s. Only thing is the new reservations required thing. Also did not see the camp host at all this visit. But it was still very pleasant.

Beautiful!

McWilliams is a beautiful campground over 8000 feet in the Spring Mountains.

Went on Memorial day weekend and it was not crowded at all. However the sites that were able to be reserved seemed to be full.

Patchy snow still on the ridge and in the mid 30s at night. Don't be fooled though, still got a sun burn!

Even got a visit from some wild mountain burros.

Great jumping off spot.

Very clean little rv park. Booked after reading an article about Beatty and it was time to see more of my state. Rhyolite ghost town, Beatty museum, Death Valley to name a few places there are super close by. Wild burros still through occasionally for an added surprise.

Nice getaway

A larger campground, with all parking on gravel. Sites are a little closer than I expected, but overall a great little park. Reception was friendly and courteous, campground occupants seem friendly. Lots of stuff to do! Here for the music festival.

Favorite local area

We live close by Lake Mead NRA and love to camp here for a quick wind down getaway.

Best site yet

We went for a couple nites as a year end thing. To end 2020 on a good note. Found out quite a few spots, mostly pull thru, have their own water. This is a plus went wanting to leave the fresh tank empty for winter.

Very quite

This campground is very quite but seems to have smaller sites than others. When entering there are few spots to accommodate bigger trailers although some spots you can see where the site has been extended into the dirt. I like the no generator section as it is super quite at night. Quite time starts at 10pm in other sections.

Another great spot!!

Did a day trip here, looking for other areas to be able to set up my mobile office. Awesome views, and half to full cell service/wifi all the way to the water! Water was clear and could see decent sized fish in the shallows. Another start in the boon-docking sash! Only caveat is the trash! Come one fellow campers, whatever happened to picking up and leaving no trace?

Great boondock area!

Scouted this location looking for an area to camp with cell service and wifi so I could work during the day. This was it! Great cell reception, and using hot spot has perfect wifi to work! Great views and will definitely as this to our camping go to list.

Hidden Gem

This was our first time camping on Mt. Charleston. We has started by going to Kyle Canyon, but at last minute opted for McWilliams campground in Lee Canyon instead. This campground is super clean and very quite. It was very chilly this weekend with lows at 29 degrees but still wonderful.

Met some great people, and will definitely go again!
