Small but available

Just stopped in here on a chance during Easter weekend. Boulder beach was booked or so the host said, however in stopping at callville on our way to dispersed camping, found several available sites. Spaces were clean, bathrooms were more than adequate. All in all I found it to be a great jump off spot to drive various back country trails. Will stay here again.

Great place

Great place even on a holiday weekend. This is one cove east of crawdad cove. A little longer off a wash board drive but much nicer area and easier access to the lake.

Beautiful place but....

Drove in looking for a spot to day sit with our toes in the water. Very beautiful spot with abundant fish and clear water. But….a large group was already there which I didn’t mind, plenty of space to be away, however they had several very large dogs of pit bull mix. None were leashed and ran the hundred feet or so to start attacking my two smaller leashed dogs. Very uncool.

Roughing it in nature

Great place for friends and family to meet. Much nicer with a higher water level.

Small but cozy

Spent one night here on a trip to Florida. Very quite campground. Hookups available. Beware of the fire ants!!

Top notch campground

Excellent sites, water available, restrooms. Sign for WiFi but could never connect? Our go to campground for a quick getaway.

Beautiful area

Six mile cove is a remote beach area that has beautiful views. Has restroom and trash facilities. Can be very busy on long weekends!

Quietly Awesome !

First time camping here. Son and family camp here every year in October and we can see why. Nice level camp spots, water is available for washing dishes/catch. Will return again!
