Small but exceptional

Great little state park close to Taylor’s falls. The camp park itself is small, but if you can snag a riverside site, it’s the best!! Great hiking trails and river access as well.

Excellent getaway!

I usually camp on weekdays bc of the smallest crowds and I had a wonderful relaxing time! Great bike trails, river access, and clean sites.

Awesome hiking trails

Hiked one of the moderate trails, made it to some campsites that were pretty remote. Hiked uphill for about 1-2 miles so it’s hard with camping gear! Beautiful scenery though!

Great hiking!

I camped in the rustic campground, the sites were spaced out a bit, but not as much as I had hoped. LOTS of owls made it tough to sleep, but it was pretty cool as well so not sure if that’s a downfall.

Always a favorite

It’s a great state park, period.

Great hiking

I stayed here in mid May and the lake was still halfway frozen… was looking forward to fishing so that was out. The hiking trails were awesome!

Great hiking trails!

We stayed in a camper cabin that was just perfect. Lots of hiking to be done and the fire towers are one of my favorite!

Wonderful park!

We stayed in camper cabins that were really amazing. Fishing Pier and a small lake to canoe and kayak on. I’d definitely come back.
