A day at the park

This cute little city park has several campsites around the perimeter with electrical and water hookups. No one else was around and we enjoyed the end of this small down.

Country charm

We stayed for a couple of days while hunting antelope. It’s a quiet campground, close to the highway, serviceable. Would definitely stay again!!

Island time

As the realtors say: location location location. That is the selling ticket for this campground. I loved being so close to the beach and walked there at least once a day. Our weather was rainy and windy in mid March but it’s the ocean! We got lucky with a cancellation and switched plans on a whim to stay for a week and I would do it again in a minute. The campground itself is white rock, trees, and roads. Fine for hanging out with friends or family but really—it’s Tybee and the beach you are here for!! Staff were friendly and gasp smiling! We had a pull through site on Fort St and I loved that we could come and go without wending through the campground proper.

Peace and tranquillity in the city

Red gate is a hidden gem. This is a beautiful farm of 200 acres situated 5 minutes from downtown Savannah. Everything you could ask for: pool, ponds, horseback riding, goats, beautiful landscaping, room to roam or play. We had a fabulous time hanging out here and will definitely return. Call if there are no reservations online, they have some dry camping available- totally worth it!

Quiet River Side

We enjoyed a River side site during the off season and during the week. Was very quiet and enjoyed the River. Dogs barking across the River, but how can you control that? Would love to see this place in full summertime mode, but it will have to wait!!

Beautiful River Retreat

Riverside spots were a special treat. Great view, friendly neighbors, clean facilities. Pretty quiet in early March. WiFi was not fast enough to work but nearby coffee shop was cute, comfortable and accommodating! Although it’s right off the main drag, felt pretty secluded back by the river. Would’ve stayed longer if we didn’t have to switch sites.

Nice hidden spot

This is a hidden little gem in the bustle of Louisville. We visited in the off season and during COVID. But the staff were friendly, grounds were clean, sites are very close together. We were happy to spend the night and know we were safe and tucked in. Our son loved the jump pillow, I gave it a try and my knee has been reminding me all day that I’m too old for that!! We would definitely stay again.
