My kids especially enjoyed the pump track and the skills course. The campground was nice and clean. We will come back for sure! We visited Coral Cove beach in Jupiter while we were there which was beautiful and the Indian River was so peaceful and amazing at sunset. We ate at Dune Dogs which had amazing food!
We loved visiting this area, the beach was clean and nice. There was also great trails to walk/ride on. We also enjoyed the farmers market at the amphitheater close by.
This place felt like we escaped to another land. My kids called it Jurassic Park.
This park is so much fun! It is priced well and offers a free laundry facility on site which is very rare and extremely nice when you are traveling full time. We stayed there for 4 nights but due to the popularity had to switch sites each day because we didn’t book out far enough in advance. This place is super close to Universal Studios!
We were able to get a site with electricity. Not all of them do. The campground doesn’t have hot water in their bathrooms. Visiting the park was a neat experience. We saw manatee, osprey and a crocodile. Ultimately we shortened our trip and only stayed one night instead of two. It is really far away from everything! The Visitor Center is still closed for renovations but they hope to be open in the fall.
They offer a shuttle service to the beach every 30 minutes. The beach area seemed to be only campers so it wasn’t crowded at all. The volunteers were very friendly. Overall we loved staying here and hope to stay again soon!
Wasn’t much special about this place. Signs everywhere to warn about ticks. Thankfully we didn’t get any. The campground is very far from the entrance.
It feels like a whole different world. It does flood easy so depending on where you are parked you can end up with a big puddle out of your door. The beach had soft beautiful sand at first but then it was not as soft.
We were there in April and there was a ton of gnats that would swarm the RV and the bite! It was cool to see the Civil War stuff but it does have a separate fee. We also had an issue with the site numbered strange and had to move. The section we were in the sites hadn’t been mapped out yet.
Beautiful tall trees. Lots of pollen so beware if you have allergies. We went in April.
Nothing too special but it was nice enough. No water hookup but they have water on site to fill your tank and fresh water pumps near the site.
Wasn’t crowded and it is right on the beach! They had a dog wash which is super convenient. Our dogs enjoyed going on a run in the sand with us, on leash.
We stayed in site 4 it was close to the bathroom and across from the boardwalk to the beach. It was beautiful and a great getaway!
We went in March. They don’t have hookups but it is a beautiful spot to stay in the park.
Lots of burs and stickers in the ground but otherwise a good place. Spots aren’t marked so you can camp anywhere. Someone even parked there RV right on a trail which was a little frustrating.
This campground was really crowded when we went and we had really loud people right by us which was frustrating but overall it was a good site with a fun playground close by.
This is one of the most beautiful places we have camped.
