Absolutely stunning sunrise & sunset & you're right next to the white sandstone that separates UT from the AZ border. Super cool spot close to Lake Powell (on the AZ side) as well as Lone Rock (UT) & Horseshoe Bend (in Page). Not far from Hoodoos trail either, highly recommend. No shade at this campsite, please be sure to pack it in, pack it out. Keep this space beautiful!
Such a nice campsite, plenty of spots from the upper area down to the lower part where the original part of hwy 89 stands. Super close to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes which is worth a visit, as well as the Belly of the Dragon, Moqui Sand Caves & Zion NP! I also highly recommend checking out the Nomad Cafe in Kanab while here, as well as Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Plenty to do while passing through - happy camping everyone!
Beautiful campsite, wish I could've stayed longer! Lots of spots & while busy, campsites are quite spaced out to give you ample space to stretch out on your own. There's a nice little hike behind the campsites you can go on to get a view of Bryce too which is absolutely stunning!
I didn't get to go through the campsite sadly, I'm sure it's beautiful but I just wanted to pop on & let anyone driving in a car/possibly with their van know that you may need a 4x4 to pass. Sand got pretty deep at points & I didn't want to risk it. Be safe everyone & happy camping!
This is a nice campground with good cell service (I'm using Verizon). No hookups, pack in/pack out. Campsites are grouped fairly close together but still dispersed, not bad on weekdays but quite busy on the weekends & a spots are on a first come, first served basis. Road gets quite busy in the evenings with people looking for spots but if unable to find one, there is Mather Campground or a dispersed off road site 2 minutes down the road just past Smokey Bear sign on the left hand side. Good sun for people with solar & very close to the Grand Canyon Park entrance! Happy camping everyone!
I'm so obsessed with this campsite. Plenty of room to spread out, different scenery depending on where you park & how far in you drive. I stayed here in my Honda fit & a tent attached to it with my dog for a week & absolutely loved it. Plenty of spots for people using solar & also great for those who use Starlink. Verizon had okay service, 4G & 2 bars pretty regularly where I was parked. Nearby to Kaibab Lake & Sycamore Falls, both definitely worth a visit. Heard lots of wildlife & even saw 5 deer one day on our walk around the grounds. Pack in, pack out. Will definitely be back!
