The camp ground is tucked away in the woods and each spot has a good amount of privacy. The camp seems like it is never super busy so it is a good last-minute option. Hot showers were a nice surprise as well. But as other comments mentioned, the train is VERY loud. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal but when they always blare the horn right as they are passing the campground, it makes it very difficult to sleep. It made my GF jump the first time it passed by and kept me up most throughout the night.
A bit hard to find but go past the Helicopter and keep going down the dirt road for a mile or two. All the campsites sit along a rocky canyon and a stream runs parallel to the road. All sites have a picnic table and fire pit. One of my fav camping spots I’ve visited
