we love Higgins lake, it’s clear, shallow and great for a family with small children. the campground was crowded, loud, and so dirty.

sites were very close together, located next to a busy road. had to cross a busy road to get to the larger beach access. not my fav

we had a large site but other sites were very sloped and would only be good for a tent. short walk to the beach, fairly quiet.

quiet, peaceful with extra room between sites. long hike to the beach but great for families who enjoy being active. restrooms were clean and playground was nice.

quiet campground during the day, short drive to the beach, biking and equestrian trails available. loud around the restroom at night, cleaning crew came through at 10 pm.
