Great Little Cabin with friendly neighbors

Very cute little cabin nestled next to a small creek. The area was very pretty, but had some broken fencing allowing tons of cows to surround the cabin on the morning. Very funny, but a little odd. Trip in was easy enough, road was slightly rutted, but nothing intolerable. A couple bunk beds were in the cabin, and it was definitely warm enough to survive.

Gorgeous campground with sketchy roads and tons of bugs

The road to the campground was terrifying. Steep drop offs, sharp rocks, narrow lanes, and just really scary to be honest. The campground was nice, it was very pretty but the bugs were overwhelming for some.

Perfect quick getaway

So easy to get to! The loft was closed when we went. I think there were a lot of mice, but we didn’t have to deal with any of that. Very pretty views and such a great setup. Two single beds that we pushed together were pretty comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Incredible cabin, less than swell road

This is a GORGEOUS cabin. The view is amazing! There are gas lights and a gas stove, both which were nice to have. We took a walk around in the surrounding hills, saw tons of cows and what was definitely a grizzly. There’s a parking lot down below by the gate where it seems lots of hunters leave their cars and travel in the backwoods to hunt.

It took us a very long time to get to the cabin, and the forest road in was several miles of ruts and herds of cows blocking the road. It took triple the time we expected to arrive, but found the cabin wonderful when we did.

Perfect cabin

LOVED this cabin. It was very accessible, with an easy road. You can drive right up to the cabin. There are two wood stoves, one in the sleeping area with two bunks. It got VERY toasty in there with the fire going (but with two adults and two large dogs shoved all on one bed together, what can you expect?) there was plenty of wood, the fire pit was perfect, and the area beautiful. 10/10

Early Season Start

Stayed one night late March. The road in wasn’t terrible, a little rutted past the gate up to the cabin, but easy enough to manage. It was quite cold when we arrived, and we started a fire pretty quickly. The cabin has an electric stove, small fridge and freezer, and a couple small lamps and even a toaster and coffee maker. The cabin is quite drafty and we struggled to keep it warm. We pinned a sheet up in the doorway to keep the heat contained in the sleeping area, and that helped considerably.
