Although this is a gorgeous campground. Very beautiful hiking trails. Very scenic waterfalls. The mosquito population is ridiculous. I believe our family "donated" enough blood for a lifetime. We had a selection of bug sprays and nothing deterred the bugs. We will not be back again. I believe the Park needs to do Mosquito spraying before campers arrive.
Although this is a great family campground, most bigger Campers and Rvs can't stay here. There are many trees too close to roadways for turning corners, and many branches are hanging low overhead. We did manage after many attempts, to gently get our 42 foot fifth wheel toy hauler into a spot. We loved the warmer water of the inland lake for swimming with the kids, and the scenic hiking trail around the lake was great. We would definitely stay again in a smaller camper.
