Cute campground

Well maintained, nice bathrooms, showers, and dishes area. Quiet with little picnic area. Highly recommend. The sites closer to the lake have some standing water surrounding the sites. Stayed in 5 and it was super dry.

So Cute

This is such a well maintained park. Well taken care of sites, gardens all around, cute lean-tos, new bathrooms/showers, hiking trail to MT. Olga, and friendly staff. You can continue on the hiking trail to a cute brewery/pizza place or even a distillery. If hiking is not for you it’s a 3 minute car ride away. Super nice campground!

Well Maintained but Expensive

This is a huge campground (700 plus) sites. I stayed in 505. Smaller but nice. The bathrooms in the 400 are not great. Go to the back of the park by the boat launch if that is important to you. Very small beach, trail around the pond, and enough to do for kids. 20 minute bike ride to the ocean! Pretty nice and packed all week long.

Empty on the weekday

This could be a really great park. A great beach, big spacious spots, cute trails and ponds. But it’s trashed, literally. Got here on a Sunday afternoon, trash left on the beach, on sites, campfires smoldering, food left in campfires rings, and the showers were really nasty. On the plus side bathrooms near my site were cleaned and well maintained. Little disappointed in humans for leaving the park this way and they have teenagers picking up so it’s not going to be great. Didn’t anyone patrolling or maintaining basic rules.

Beautiful but Bears

The camp honestly is really nice and well maintained. Some Verizon work and vault toilets. The first day I got there at around 5:30 I was sitting in my hammock reading when a black bear cub strolled through my campsite. We scared the poop out of each other. Local police came and said they have been having problems with the bears coming through my site particularly (they have been beam bagging the bears). The next night I felt my camper sway and a handle jiggle, so I set my car alarm off to scare whatever away. Can’t say for sure it was a bear visitor but what else can move a trailer? I left 3 days early… couldn’t shake the feeling of bears coming in and out.

Small but plenty

This is a cute little campground with walking/biking/hiking trails. A river to dip in and good amenities like showers, bathrooms and firewood/ice. Little park for kids and a hoop. Make sure you stock up before your get there, stuff is expensive at the corner stores. I had no phone service (Verizon) anywhere in the park. Went to the front office to suck off their WiFi.
