Quiet and relaxing. Clean and well monitored. Sites right on the river. Riverboat cruises available docking at campground office. We loved it! Will definitely take the 6 hour trip back to stay again!
This is the second time we have camped here. The first time back in 2020 we paid for the cement pad spots and had zero issues. There aren’t any shade trees near the cement pad sites but the sites themselves are immaculate. This Labor Day weekend we stayed in a pull thru gravel spot. Minimal effort to get leveled and set up. Staff is friendly, site is beautiful with a few smaller trees. Nice play area for anyone who has kids. Dog park is also very nice sans the fact you have to walk past the bee infested dumpsters to get there! This is probably the most quiet campgrounds we have stayed at in the past 2 years! Very relaxing and a great place to stay!
Pros: -close to Cooperstown -newer sites recently added that are super shady and nice for the most part -has ball fields on site to rent or watch games -very much into sustainability -24 hour availability for the owners to address issues
Cons: -newer sites are on a narrow road and not deep enough for TT over the length of 22-25ft or you won’t have any room for towing vehicle and to sit outside your camper -quite a bit of overgrown weeds around camp “store” and ball fields -old, abandoned batting cages are an over grown eyesore
