City park and rodeo arena, first come, first served. This is a great over-nighter spot. We did not unhitch, almost totally level. Arrived at 5:30pm. Plenty of spaces. A few more RVs came in around 6:30pm. Still a few spots available, both electrical and primitive. Flush toilets on-site. Worth the $20!
Close to Devil's Tower (5 min), but right on highway. You truly can see the tower from the campground. Found out later that the much nicer Belle Fourche CG inside the monument, which is first come, first served, was not full at 5:30pm. Talking to the ranger, it sounded like this was common, but that it would fill by dark. Devil's view RV had a small restaurant and ice cream and a gift shop. Owners were very nice. No water, only electric. Port-a-potty bathrooms. Sites close together and loud right on the road. Our camp site was on a hill and hard to level our trailer. At $47 per night, a little pricy.
Great campground, close to Denver and Golden Gate Canyon. It is right next to a fairly busy highway, so it can get loud with traffic and motorcycles. But, the campsites were clean and nice in the bathrooms were spotless. There's even a small overlook trail in the campground. No hookups for RVs or trailers. But that is fine with us! Camp hosts were super nice.
Great view of Granby Lake from most of the camp sites. Not a lot of tree cover but it was very pretty. Mostly quiet and we are at the entrance by the boat dock.
