We stayed here for 3 weeks, full hookups, all large pull through sites, (don’t stay in site 16)… (see photo) clubhouse and shower house is kinda nasty but we don’t need it, 6-8 trailers live there year round, no staff on site, WiFi was sketchy but if you are just looking for a place to stay and explore the Ozarks it works.
Nice place but it is a campground not an rv park, 30 & 50 amp service but no water hookup (fill when you come in) and dump tanks when leaving,
Lots of history in the area, fun quiet place to stay, about an hour drive to New Orleans, Howard and his wife are hosts and very nice people, the place needs a lot of work but the character of it all is worth the time here, the drive in makes you wonder about your decision to stay here but it is a nice change from your typical RV park many cool little things to see here. There is a small cafe/restaurant on site that is open Wednesday-Sunday and tonight (Thursday) they have live music! Anxious to check it out.
Great place to stay for a few days or just overnight, Jim and Jerry run a nice park… it is always windy here also
