OHV trail. Many side pullouts. Quiet, dusty, beautiful views On a butte so windy. One OHV passed before dusk on a Friday night. Otherwise all by myself. Accessible with fro t wheel Promaster. Go slow
A nice gravel rd with no major ruts or holes. Navigable with a van all wheel drive. Drove in about a mile+to find an empty spot. Most already taken. Seems to be a mix between a mobile and a stationary group of campers. A good spot close to Bend.
This site is on Horseshoe Meadow Road about 1/2 mile north of the Tuttle Creek site. There are 3 legal spots with camping signs. First two are level. Third will need leveling blocks. First site is large and was to turn around a larger trailer or rv. The SuperDrive get to spots is getting a large rut go slow and even my Subaru Forester had no issue. The second and third have better views. But the first can offer wind protection from the north. BLM. Carry in and out.
Small campground. Easy entry off 299. A gravel road and car accessible. Bear boxes. Pit toilets at entry, 200 meters from Campsite 9. River view but access a challenge through brush or steep grade.
