Great boondocking

We use this on our way to Quartzite. Easy off and on. Traffic noise is fairly bad. Quite a lot of space. Box Canyon across the highway is better

This park is very BIG

Great Park! 35 miles across Great RV campground at the Hwy 10 entrance and nowhere else. Small vehicle campgrounds scattered around the park. Boulders are Amazing. We love Black Water campgrounds but they are starting to say No Class A units they have six sites.

We Love Box Canyon

Shear cliffs that are heavily eroded. Very distinct layers of floods. Nice hikes up thin canyons. Cons; very easy to get stuck Very loose sand. Great boondocking spot at the bottom of the canyon at the turn off to the painted cliffs.

We loved it

Full hook up. California State Park… so safe. The lake is improving but not safe yet. Fishing has Improved. There are three separate campgrounds in this park. Flies can be a problem but not this time because of wind. View is outstanding

Great Old Park

It is shady with large trees. Opened in 1948, same as the office trailer! Very quite… very low train noise! If you know Barstow, you know the trains never stop!

Beach front view

Love this Rv park! You are only 20 ft from the surf! Yes it can be noisy….. but soooo worth it!

Nice & Well kept

Clean showers and restroom

Happy Camper

We love this place!!! Really lade back. Beautiful area! Fishing

No dump station

Motorhome campground

Right on the river. Full hook ups only. Just in land enough to be out of the wind and warm
