To Each His Own

The park was nice but it's not my style of camping or at least not my site #008. My view was surrounded by campers, felt packed in like a sardine. (At the entrance to the camp sites seem to be the best ones, they'd be on the left as you enter) Some it may not bother them but I like more open wide spaces with my view of trees or a lake at least. Bathrooms were okay. No gate after hours. Very quiet though. Hiking was nice and there are many trails. Staff was Very friendly!!

Surprised by this Park

Stopped here as a halfway point to our destination. Stayed two nights and now wish we did more. The campgrounds were spacious and level. The trails were Peaceful and I loved all the nature you see everywhere. Had my morning coffee and watched a 7ft gator swimming and paying us no mind. Most amazing thing I've seen. I'm a city dweller that loves nature so this was a first for me with the gator sighting in the wild. Restrooms were clean, no luck fishing but that's okay it was just great just sitting there. Love that it was close to town because one night we decided to just go out for dinner. Very quiet and I'd stay here again and again.

Peaceful Large Sites

I was so impressed with this campground. I was in site #26 Plenty of room. Friendly staff, locked gates at night and well maintained park. The bathrooms (all of them) were well cleaned. Showers have Plenty of room and I loved their washer/dryer set up too. Close to everything and I now want to move to Niceville, Florida. Very quiet in the campground day and night. Will stay here often and suggest anyone to stay but the sites will spoil you and most sites or parks since I've stayed here have not compared to the cleanliness, space or quiet of this park.
