My husband and I lucked out to get an absolutely gorgeous day to tent camp at this campground. The next day was back to Florida’s hot and humidity. This campground is in one of natire’s most wonderful places, big cypress national preserve. This campground has tent and rv sites. No electric sites. We went on a Sunday and the whole campground was full, it’s a popular spot, would recommend making reservations in advance. There are vault toilets over on the rv sites and flush toilets by the tent sites. There are campground hosts, fire pits in the tent area, and a lake that does have alligators, because this is Florida. The nite sky was perfect so many stars to see. Little to no noise pollution. Make sure to bring your insect repellent, I got eaten alive once the sun started setting. No trails at the campground but there are trails within big cypress. Tent campsites were level and not right on top of one another. There were a few trees for shade as well.

My husband and I would travel to this area that is on the current river every summer and kayak. One summer we decided to stay here as it is on the river and there is also a cave that you can go in via the visitor center. The natural spring is amazing. There are excellent restrooms and showers at this campground. My problem with this campground and in all honestly not the campgrounds fault is that other campers get rowdy and drunk. One family was sitting out trying to make their dinner on the campfire and right across from them was a group of young adults drinking heavily and cussing loudly. The best time to go to truly enjoy this campground is during the week.

Having never been to Michigan before, this campground shows how beautiful the state is. The campground was lovely and beautiful. Other campers were respectful and even after leaving my IPhone in the restroom someone actually turned it in. You can ride bikes, you can kayak, you can walk some trails, float down a river, or go to Lake Michigan. Restrooms were nice. There are also sand dunes and a lighthouse within walking distance of campground. If it wasn’t so cold there in the winter, it would be my ideal place to live.

This campground is big, and very popular. Make sure to make reservations as campground was full at the end of August. There are several trails and you can walk to the beach. The campsite we had was nice sized. There is an old fort here and an old shipwreck that was neat to see. Restrooms and showers available, and they were nice. Just a short drive to Astoria, Oregon. Probably my second favorite campground on our vacation.

This was a very nice campground. The setting amongst the redwoods was breath taking. It is also located along a river. This campground is within a short picturesque drive to a town, to fill up on groceries, gas, and just to see the Pacific Ocean. The trees are amazing. Our site was nice and backed up against a trail. Food storage containers available at each site. Bathrooms were ok, I mean it was actual plumbing. They have showers but other campgrounds have nicer ones. There is a visitor center and you can purchase firewood at this campsite. Ranger at the entrance was friendly. I would go back.

We stayed at two different state park campground in the redwoods and this one was my favorite. Out of our whole two week camping excursion, this was my favorite. The landscape was just amazing, such massive awesome trees. Did not see any elk but there is always the possibility at this campground. Several hiking trails to explore. There is a visitor center and you can buy firewood from the camp hosts. Th restroom were decent and had nicer showers then the other campground we stayed at. Our campsite was nice and spacious. If you get the chance to go here do, and take the scenic highway to get to it. Also check out fern canyon, the road to get there is narrow and crappy but totally worth it.

We only stayed here one night but this campground is very nice. The campsites are nice. There are fire pits. Restrooms and showers available. Nice and spacious showers. Neat rock formations around our campsite. Loved the area this park is located in as well. Can’t wait to go back to this one. Would recommend reservations as campground was full when we went in late August.

This was the second Yellowstone campground we stayed at. It was very large. The workers at the registration building were friendly and helpful. This campground is on Yellowstone lake. There were clean restrooms that were heated. Also an area within the restroom building to wash dishes. Also laundry facilities and showers were available in another building a short distance from the campground. A gas station, visitor center, restaurant, and store within a short drive. Unfortunately it started to rain in the evening and rained all night long, which dampened things a bit. Fires were allowed. Our site was very nice and woodsy.

Ok, I can honestly say only stayed in two of Yellowstone’s campgrounds, but of the two this one was my favorite, and I would pick it again in the future. The campground was beautiful to me. The restrooms were clean and heated. The building where you go to check in, also contains laundry facilities and showers. With each night stay, you receive two showers at no cost. Also very close to this campground, there were shops, restaurants, grocery store, and gas station. Short drive to reach the falls as well. Hiking trails as well.

I wish we had more time to spend at this campground. It was a bit off the beaten path but worth it. It is also situated right by a lake, but did not see any direct access to the lake from the campground. There were clean restrooms here and showers. There is also a visitor center to purchase items but they were closed by the time we rolled in. They were open in the morning, roughly around 8. Would like to go back and stay a couple of nights in the future. There was a no burn order in place, or site was nice and secluded.

This campground was very nice. We actually stayed in the RV campground. There is a lodge which is just a small little hike on a trail that runs along the sol duc river. There is no actual bathroom in the RV campground, which if you have an RV it will be no problem. If you do not have a RV, then stay in the actual tent campground, where there are restrooms. The lodge has restrooms and shower but the lodge is not open all night long.
